【Notice: Event Information in Tsurumi Ward】January 7(Sun) Nanakusa-gayu (Rice porridge with seven herbs)

On January 7 (Tue) , There is an event which you could eat Nanakusa-gayu at Yokomizo Yashiki(※) It is a traditional Japanese food, which people eat for wishing good health over the year.  Nanakusa-gayu contains seven herbs which are considered to bring good fortune (Oenanthe javanica, Shepherd’s purse, Cudweed, Chickweed, Nipplewort, Turnip, Radish).

  • Yokomizo Yashiki:It is a rich farmer’s house built in Edo-era where you could see farmers’ dairy lives.  Japanese traditional events will be held here by seasons.

Date: January 7, 2020 (Tue)

Time: 11:00~13:00(the reception will open at 9:30)

Fee:  \100  (500 people on a first-come-first-served basis)
