2014 Participants Wanted! Kangaroo Salon for Foreign Parents and Children (May – Nov. 2014)
This salon is a place where foreign parents and children learn Japanese and acquire necessary information according to such themes as sickness, vaccination, nursery school/kindergarten, obento (box lunch) preparation and disaster prevention. There are programs where parents read their children a story in their mother tongues and sing songs with their children. Other events are also held.
Why don’t you participate in the programs with your children?
Fee: Free of charge
No. of Participants: 20 families (applications accepted on a first-come-first-served basis)
Dates: First term – May 19, 26 / June 9, 16, 30 / July 7
Second term – Sept. 29 / Oct. 6, 20, 27 / Nov. 10, 17 (Each term has 6 sessions; 12 sessions in total.)
Day & Time: 10:00~12:00, Monday
